DJI Care Refresh is an additional insurance system offered by DJI . It differs from the standard product warranty, which is a repair service provided by the manufacturer in the event of a detected defect in the product.
With DJI Care Refresh, you’re guaranteed a replacement for your equipment in case of accidental damage during normal use . You can still take advantage of the standard DJI warranty, but having this coverage significantly reduces repair costs.
Very easy to activate, you will receive a DJI Care activation code ( the code may take up to 24 hours to arrive after your order, excluding business days ) which you will need to link to your product’s serial number. This action must be completed within 48 hours (or 30 days for stabilizers and cameras) of receiving the code, or within specific timeframes applicable to certain products.


Generally, for drones and gimbals you have 48 hours following their activation, for cameras and stabilizers you will have 30 days following activation.
- With DJI Care Refresh (1 year) you will have 2 possible replacements in 1 year.
- With DJI Care Refresh (2 years) (available on some products) , you will have the option to have your device replaced 4 times in 2 years.
Reminder: it may take up to 24 hours after your order for the code to arrive (excluding business days).

The product you will receive is a “replacement unit”. It is a new or like-new product , specially prepared for you by DJI.
DJI Care Refresh offers extremely low prices. Insurance is truly essential . Furthermore, you can take advantage of extended insurance options ( DJI Care Refresh+ ) on certain products for extended coverage (available on select products only) .
Whether the damage is caused by you or not, DJI offers to replace your device with a brand new one in the following cases:
- Crash, pilot error or interference (collision, water damage…)
- Equipment damage or accident
- Normal wear and tear
The contract is valid for only one product at a time, as you will need to link the insurance serial number to your device’s identifier. Since the service is directly provided by DJI, you must ensure you activate your insurance within the specified timeframe.
