The  DJI Zenmuse L3  is a  LiDAR camera gimbal  designed for professional mapping, inspection, and aerial surveying applications. It combines a  1535 nm laser  delivering up to  100 W of power  at a  variable scanning frequency from 100 kHz to 2000 kHz , capable of recording up to 16 echoes per pulse. This architecture enables  precise acquisition of complex terrain , even in densely vegetated areas.

Stabilized on three axes , the gimbal integrates a  dual 100-megapixel micro 4/3 photo sensor , with oblique orientation and an acquisition interval of 0.5 seconds in 25 MP mode, guaranteeing detailed textures and rich point clouds.

The integrated IMU offers a  200 Hz positional position (POS) refresh rate without the need for initialization , ensuring fast and reliable deployment on DJI Enterprise drones such as the  Matrice 400. Three scan modes (Linear, Star Shaped, and Non-Repetitive) allow the capture to be adapted to each type of project: 3D modeling, BIM, forest management, or infrastructure inspection.
