Description
DJI Mavic 4 Pro, an iconic design with significant improvements
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro embodies the perfect blend of compactness, robustness, and mechanical innovation. Staying true to the iconic foldable design of the Mavic series, this drone takes a significant leap forward with its 440° rotating gimbal. This new feature allows creators to explore unprecedented angles and achieve camera movements previously impossible on a drone in this category. It can even film upwards at up to 70°, a valuable advantage for capturing scenes in dense urban environments or at the base of imposing buildings.
Its structure has been optimized to improve aerodynamics: slimmer arms, a redesigned chassis, and a 20% improved thrust-to-weight ratio, all guaranteeing near-instantaneous takeoff, with barely 20 seconds between unfolding and launch. Supplied with the DJI RC 2 remote controller, this package offers a smooth and intuitive piloting experience. The bright, integrated 5.5-inch screen allows for intuitive drone control. The whole thing gives a feeling of control and precision from the very first seconds.

The capabilities of the DJI Mavic 4 Pro
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone doesn’t just innovate optically; its flight performance is equally impressive. Capable of reaching speeds of up to 90 km/h, it boasts an extended flight time of 51 minutes, giving videographers ample time to refine their shots without worrying about battery limitations. Thanks to a new generation of high-performance fisheye sensors, positioned on the top and bottom of the drone, obstacle detection is virtually omnidirectional. The front-facing LiDAR, also optimized, remains effective even in low light or challenging weather conditions.
Designed for safe flights in all circumstances, the drone can detect its surroundings even in light levels as low as 0.1 lux. It can therefore fly at dawn or dusk, with an intelligent automatic return-to-home system. By visually recording its route, it can find its way back even if it loses GPS signal. In addition, there is stable video transmission over 15 km (CE standard), ensuring comfort for long-distance shooting.
DJI Mavic 4 Pro and its technical specifications
At the heart of the Mavic 4 Pro experience lies a remarkably versatile optical system. Three complementary cameras are mounted on the same gimbal, allowing for seamless transitions between shots without having to switch drones. The main lens, made by Hasselblad, is based on a 4/3-inch CMOS sensor offering 100-megapixel photo resolution. Videos can be captured in 6K at 60 frames per second, with an adjustable aperture from f/2 to f/11. This sensor also boasts an extended dynamic range of 16 stops, ideal for revealing details in both highlights and shadows, and a unique visual rendering thanks to the starburst effect on point light sources.
The second camera, a medium telephoto lens inherited from the Mavic 3 Pro, offers a 70mm equivalent focal length. It’s the preferred camera for video portraits or cinematic shots that compress perspectives. Finally, the long telephoto lens, equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor in a 168mm format, is designed to capture distant subjects with exceptional precision. It can shoot in 4K/60p, detect small, fast-moving subjects like birds, and offers a smooth tracking mode for orbital or close-up shots.
All three sensors now share perfect color consistency, correcting a flaw criticized in previous generations. This makes it possible to switch focal lengths during filming without any visual breaks, greatly simplifying editing. Furthermore, all cameras support advanced features such as HDR, ActiveTrack, hyperlapse, and waypoints.

DJI Mavic Pro drone, the drone with multiple features
The Mavic 4 Pro stands out with a suite of features designed for content professionals. From the remote controller, a true control panel, to the drone’s rotating gimbal, the Mavic 4 Pro is built for creation. Native vertical shooting is particularly valuable for social media content creators, where the demand for quality shouldn’t be sacrificed to format constraints.
The video feed can be displayed in 10-bit, with richer colorimetry that’s more faithful to the real image. Thanks to the Dynamic Home Point function, the drone can automatically adjust its return point if the pilot is moving—an invaluable feature for mobile shooting. Finally, the 15 km video transmission range ensures exceptional reliability, even when filming in wide-open areas.
